Our story
Before 1992, Transport Canada was responsible for welcoming prestige visitors at Canadian airports. However, the privatization of airports changed this situation and consequently, opened new opportunities for the private sector. Jacques Lalumière capitalized on this change and founded SAVM in 1997, in order to provide distinguished travellers with superior airport services at Montreal-Trudeau airport.
The company’s constant growth reflects both the professionalism of the SAVM team, as well as our desire to exceed high client expectations. Today, SAVM offers meet and greet services in every international airport where the service is available.
In December 2002, Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada entrusted SAVM with management of the Canada Reception Centre at the Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport. This contract consists of managing the CAC lounges, as well as welcoming and escorting dignitaries from arrival through to departure.
SAVM has served Toronto Pearson International Airport since 2010.
